I've directed President Carter twice and it is always a pleasure working with him. How often do you get to have a former leader of the free world say, "Tommy, just tell me what to do."? I replaced the helicopter footage I shot of the ugly Chattahoochie river with this pristine Tallulah river footage.

This music video played at the 2000 Democratic National Convention to rally the troops for the Gore campaign. How I pulled this one together I'll never know. I had a week to organize the filming of an anti-W video in the heart of W country–Dallas, TX. And you have to get locals to help for free, because in political advertising, you don't pay for anything. I had to come up with a camel and make green Dallas look like Saudi Arabia. I found the only oil well in Dallas not surrounded by trees. I had to get the crew onto an airport tarmac to film below a control tower. We only had one day to shoot it all. And I was threatened with lawsuit. Are we having fun yet?
